'The FiNN Eagle is soaring high and here to Stay’. These are the words of Hydratorq Ltd’s Managing Director, Phil Wyllie, when talking about his FiNN Eagle Compact Skid Steer.
‘It seems that there is a misconception in the market place as to the future of the FiNN Eagle. Well I can tell you here and now that both FiNN & Hydratorq Ltd is committed to the Eagle here and in Australia.’

Yes, it does seem that certain individuals amongst Hydratorq’s opposition have gotten hold of an unsubstantiated rumor and not completed the sentence.
‘I had a customer ring me a week ago asking whether what he had been told was true and all I said was ‘they forgot to finish the sentence’. Yes FiNN have stopped making the Eagle for the Domestic market in the U.S.A. only’
There is a Statement posted on Hydratorq’s website from FiNN outlining its position with regards to supply and support for the Eagle in Australasia.
‘I think we have our opposition worried as they know they cannot compete on build quality or performance with comparable versions so they use this mix of words to confuse customers in a hope they will not purchase a FiNN Eagle, says Phil.
The FiNN Eagle is fast gaining a reputation of unequalled performance and reliability. With the three models in the range we have a machine to suit most applications. Be it the high horsepower 244D CAT diesel to the lower spec’d 204 the philosophy is the same, make it simple – built to last!
In a letter from Mark Middendorf, FiNN USA, to an individual in Australia last year Mark made the following statement:

‘While it is true that we announced last year that we were suspending domestic sales of the Finn Eagle to evaluate and investigate the domestic market – this decision was based around our distribution strategy and not the product. We have actually strengthened our commitment to the international market specifically Australia and New Zealand. The Finn Eagle is an important part of our business both now and continuing into the future.

We, at Finn, have made a corporate commitment to continue to market, to develop, and to improve the Finn Eagle for our international market. We have strengthened that commitment by recently establishing a long term agreement to partner with Revolution Equipment & Hydratorq Ltd to market and support the Eagle and our many customers in Australia and New Zealand.’
